We are seeking an experienced data engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in SQL, along with strong proficiency in Python and PySpark. The role involves designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines to ensure data integrity, scalability, and reliability. Familiarity with DevOps practices is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL processes and data pipelines using Python, PySpark, and SQL.
2. Design and implement data solutions to support large-scale data processing in cloud environments.
3. Ensure data quality and integrity through advanced SQL querying and data manipulation.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data engineering requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
5. Utilize DevOps practices for deployment and monitoring to streamline the data pipeline process (good to have).
1. Candidates with minimum 4 years of experience.
1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
2. 4+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
3. Advanced-level SQL skills with proven experience in complex querying, optimization, and troubleshooting.
4. Strong proficiency in Python for data manipulation, analysis, and scripting.
5. Solid experience with PySpark for large-scale data processing.
6. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
7. Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes (good to have).
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
9. Experience in data warehouse design and data modeling.
10. Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
11. Familiarity with other big data technologies (e.g., Hive, Kafka) is a plus.
