About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain Python-based trading algorithms focusing on Elliott Wave analysis.
2. Implement, test, and refine trading strategies using technical indicators, including Fibonacci retracements/extensions, RSI, MACD, etc.
3. Design robust systems for real-time data capture, analysis, and signal generation.
4. Integrate with various trading platforms/APIs for live data feeds and trade execution.
5. Optimize code for performance and accuracy in high-frequency trading environments.
6. Conduct backtesting and analyze trading strategies across different timeframes.
7. Collaborate with quantitative analysts and traders to fine-tune strategies.
8. Develop tools to visualize trading patterns, indicators, and wave counts.

Other requirements

1. Proficiency in Python: Strong understanding of Python programming, libraries (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy), and design patterns.

2. Trading Experience: Hands-on experience with trading platforms (e.g., MetaTrader, Interactive Brokers, Rithmic) and APIs (REST, FIX).

3. Elliott Wave Analysis: In-depth knowledge of Elliott Wave theory, wave counting, and related tools (Fibonacci, impulse/corrective waves).

4. Data Analysis: Experience with data analysis tools, real-time data processing, and working with time-series data.

5. Technical Indicators: Familiarity with various technical indicators, their usage, and how to incorporate them into trading strategies.

6. Version Control: Proficiency with Git and Git-based workflows.

7. Database: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases for storing and analyzing trade data.

8. Visualization: Skills in data visualization using libraries like Matplotlib, Plotly, or other relevant tools.

9. Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to conduct in-depth analysis of trading data and implement improvements.
