About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Develop power factor correction applications.
2. Participate in the full cycle of product development and delivery, including design, modeling, simulation, and experimental testing and validation.
3. Develop, integrate, and validate charging systems for electric and hybrid vehicle applications.
4. Develop AC-DC and DC-DC applications.
5. Model and analyze circuits and controls of chargers.
6. Test and debug high-power medium-voltage power electronics chargers.

To be noted : Candidates do not apply who has worked in testing, support, maintainance & service in power electronics.

Who can apply

1. Candidates with minimum 3 years of experience.

Other requirements

1. Must have at least 2 years of experience in coding with embedded C/C++.

2. Must have experience on working with a R&D team of a DPIIT recognized start up of at least 4 years old for at least 2 years .

3. Bachelor’s degree/master’s degree in power electronics or electrical engineering with excellent academics record.

4. Over 3years of industry experience in power converter development as either an NPD or R&D engineer.

5. Minimum 3 years of experience in design, testing, and debugging of DC-DC or 3-phase AC-DC converters with voltage ranges of 400 - 900 V and power levels >1 kW.

6. Experience in the design and selection of power semiconductor parts, cooling mechanisms, passive components, protection circuits, and sensing circuits.

7. Experience with the battery charger development cycle.

8. Understanding of PCB layout design for medium voltage ranges.

9. Familiarity with typical safety/EMI/environmental standards for power converter systems.

10. Familiarity with EMC requirements and filter design.

11. Understanding of hardware-mechanical and hardware-software interfaces.

12. Understanding of fundamental analytical equations and inductor and transformer design.

13. Understanding of converter controls specification and design.

14. Must have a very strong ability to communicate and coordinate with multiple global vendors and teams.
