As a junior fashion designer at SPORTSQVEST, you will have the exciting opportunity to work on designing cutting-edge sports apparel that combines style and functionality. Your creativity and attention to detail will be put to the test as you collaborate with our team to bring new designs to life. Your knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and fashion styling will be essential in creating visually appealing and trend-setting pieces.
Key responsibilities:
1. Develop and create original designs for sports apparel that align with the brand's aesthetic and target market.
2. Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm ideas and concepts for new collections.
3. Use Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop to create detailed sketches and technical drawings of designs.
4. Stay current on industry trends and competitor offerings to ensure designs are innovative and competitive.
5. Communicate effectively with the production team to ensure designs are executed accurately and efficiently.
6. Utilize MS-Excel to track and manage design projects, deadlines, and budgets.
7. Participate in fittings and design reviews to ensure the quality and fit of each garment meet company standards.

1. Graduation from NIFT is a must.
2. Bachelor's degree in fashion design, merchandising, or a related field.
3. Minimum of 1 year of experience in fashion design and merchandising, preferably in sportswear.
4. Strong portfolio showcasing design capabilities and previous work.
5. Excellent understanding of garment construction, fabric properties, and production processes.
6. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CorelDraw.
7. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
9. Passion for sports and understanding of the functional requirements of sportswear is a bonus.
Annual CTC: ₹ 2,00,000 - 2,40,000 /year
