About the job

The HR Associate is responsible for providing support in various human resources functions, including recruitment, leave management, attendance tracking, and payroll processing. The role ensures effective delivery of HR services, compliance with company policies, and promotes a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment:

a. Coordinate and manage the recruitment process from sourcing candidates to onboarding.
b. Collaborate with department heads to understand hiring needs and develop job descriptions.
c. Post job openings on various job portals and manage applicant tracking systems.
d. Screen resumes, conduct preliminary interviews, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
e. Conduct background checks and reference verifications.
f. Prepare offer letters and employment contracts.

2. Leave management:

a. Monitor and manage employee leave records, ensuring accurate and timely updates in the HR system.
b. Assist employees in leave applications and ensure compliance with company leave policies.
c. Generate and maintain monthly leave reports for management review.
Address employee queries related to leave policies, accruals, and balances.

3. Attendance management:

a. Track daily attendance and manage attendance records using HR software.
b. Ensure the timely submission of attendance reports for payroll processing.
c. Identify attendance irregularities (e.g., absenteeism, tardiness) and report to supervisors for action.
d. Address employee attendance-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies.

4. Payroll processing:

a. Assist in preparing payroll by compiling data such as time and attendance, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
b. Ensure payroll compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
c. Liaise with finance to ensure accurate and timely payroll disbursements.
d. Manage employee payroll queries and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve issues.

5. Additional responsibilities:

a. Assist in employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
b. Support in employee engagement initiatives and HR-related projects.
c. Maintain and update employee records in HR systems.
d. Assist with compliance and policy adherence, ensuring all HR processes align with labor laws.

Earn certifications in these skills

Who can apply

1. Candidates with minimum 1 years of experience.

Other requirements

1. Strong knowledge of HR functions, especially recruitment, leave, attendance, and payroll management.

2. Proficiency in HR management software (e.g., Zoho) and MS Office Suite (advance excel required).

3. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

4. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

5. Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.

6. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.

7. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.

1-3 years of experience in HR, with a focus on recruitment, leave, attendance, and payroll management.

8. Knowledge of local labor laws and regulations is preferred.

Salary

Annual CTC: ₹ 2,00,000 - 3,00,000 /year
