About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Work on sales strategy development:
i. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth in both B2B and B2C markets.
ii. Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and sales channels to expand market reach.
2. Work on client relationship management:
i. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, distributors, and retailers.
ii. Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and address their needs or concerns promptly.
3. Work on market research:
i. Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
ii. Analyse data to identify potential growth areas for the hydroponic farm products.
4. Handle digital marketing:
i. Develop and manage online marketing campaigns across platforms such as social media, email, and search engines.
ii. Create content and manage social media profiles to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
5. Work on product promotion:
i. Organize and execute promotional events, trade shows, and exhibitions to showcase the farm's produce.
ii. Develop brochures, presentations, and other promotional materials to support sales activities.
6. Work on sales targets:
i. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets as set by the company.
ii. Report sales activities, results, and forecasts to management regularly.
7. Handle collaboration with farm operations:
i. Work closely with farm management to align marketing strategies with production capabilities.
ii. Ensure that customer demand aligns with the farm's supply and production schedules.
8. Work on pricing and product positioning:
i. Develop competitive pricing strategies based on market demand, cost analysis, and competitor pricing.
ii. Position products to highlight the unique advantages of hydroponic farming, such as sustainability and freshness.
9. Handle customer service:
i. Provide excellent customer service, handling inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
ii. Educate customers about the benefits of hydroponically grown produce.
10. Work on budget management:
i. Manage the sales and marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal use of resources for maximum impact.

Other requirements

1. Proficiency in English, Kannada, Telugu, and Hindi is required to communicate effectively with a diverse customer base.

2. Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Agriculture, or related fields.

3. Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in Hydroponic produce or related sectors.

4. Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and strategies.

5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

6. Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.

7. Passion for sustainable agriculture and innovation.

Salary
Duration: 6 months
Salary during probation: ₹20,000 - 30,000 /month (only for freshers)
After probation:

Annual CTC: ₹ 3,00,000 - 4,50,000 /year
