Key responsibilities:

1. Design, build, and maintain high-quality frontend and backend systems using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js)
2. Build reusable code and libraries for future use
3. Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
4. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to define requirements and develop solutions
5. Use modern front-end web development techniques like Sass, Webpack, etc
6. Follow best practices for RESTful APIs, code versioning, and testing
7. Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
8. Continuously improve the development process through refactoring, reorganization, and standardization
9. Resolve production issues promptly
