The role of a 'Management Information Systems (MIS) Executive' is crucial for the efficient and secure management of an organization's information systems. MIS Managers oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of technology systems that help support business operations, decision-making, and data management. They manage teams, ensure systems' smooth operation, and align IT initiatives with business goals.
Key responsibilities:
1. Ensure clear and timely communication with Directors and internal stakeholders regarding organizational reports, queries, and updates.
2. Monitor the adherence to schedules for service delivery units and ensure timely delivery of data and reports.
3. Ensure the Software Development team adheres to scheduled release data and report timelines.
4. Prepare trend charts based on end-user data, transaction patterns, and software utilization every quarter.
5. Create, maintain, and update the Internal Service Logic Agreement for inter-team transactions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
6. Collect and process data from various departments and units to create detailed reports for internal stakeholders.
7. Work closely with teams from IT, Finance, Operations, and other departments to ensure data alignment and meet reporting needs.
8. Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation in data reporting and analysis.
