Qualifications:
LLB (three- or five-year program), LLM (optional), or equivalent degree
0-2 years of technical experience in litigation/discovery
Key responsibilities:
1. Assist in designing the scope of work for various engagements
2. Review documents to identify items relevant to the investigation or dispute consulting matter
3. Assist with compiling, analyzing, and documenting facts for matters under investigation or in litigation
4. Assist in executing engagement administration: document collection, data entry, tracking, records management, document review, and coordinating client logistics
5. Participate in missed privileged reviews and/or perform quality control
6. Assist with drafting of reports and findings, including the preparation of tables, exhibits, and charts
7. Assist with researching technical and industry-specific issues
8. Assist with the preparation of proposals
9. Communicate effectively to all levels of engagement management and clients
10. Balance multiple projects and responsibilities
11. Work closely with the service line lead at any given point in time
