Fashion Design And Merchandising Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Assist in creating and developing design concepts, and collaborate with the design team to generate innovative ideas
2. Conduct market research to stay updated on current fashion trends, and analyze competitor products and offerings
3. Support in sourcing materials and fabrics for design projects and assist in the development and prototyping of new products
4. Maintain organized records of design concepts, sketches, and material samples and prepare design presentation materials for internal and external use
5. Work closely with cross-functional teams such as production, marketing, and sales, and support in coordinating activities related to product launches and promotions
6. Actively participate in design meetings and workshops and stay informed about industry developments and design software tools
7. Work on evolving project requirements and assist in various tasks as required to support the design and merchandising team
8. Effectively communicate design ideas and concepts and collaborate with team members to ensure cohesive project execution
