We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Data Analyst / SQL Engineer. The ideal candidate will be proficient in analyzing large datasets, extracting meaningful insights, and developing SQL queries and scripts to manipulate data efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of database systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
1. Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and outliers
2. Develop and maintain SQL queries, scripts, and stored procedures for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights
4. Perform data cleaning, validation, and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and consistency
5. Design and implement data models and schemas to support analytical and reporting needs
6. Optimize database performance and query execution for improved efficiency
7. Create visualizations and reports to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
8. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analysis and SQL development
9. Participate in the planning and execution of data-related projects, including data migrations, integrations, and upgrades
10. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance related to SQL databases and data analysis tools
1. Candidates with minimum 1 years of experience.
Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, statistics, or related field
Masters degree preferred
Proven experience as a data analyst, SQL Developer, or related role
Proficiency in SQL programming and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
Familiarity with statistical analysis and data mining techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Prior experience in software development or scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) is desirable
Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies is an advantage
