About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Working on cold-calling prospective customers
2. Introducing new customers, developing and growing existing customers
3. Preparing and sending quotes
4. Understanding customers' buying patterns/needs/requirements and planning internally based on the same
5. Achieving sales targets and generating revenue through trading of industrial (CR, high carbon & hard & tempered) steel to OEM manufacturers (PAN India)
6. Working on strong follow-ups for repeat orders from existing and new customers
7. Working on frequent travel (Delhi-NCR) to regularly meet and maintain relationships with customers
8. Giving a seamless experience to customers pre and post-sales
9. Providing general and technical support to the customers for query resolution to maximize customer satisfaction
10. Maintaining cordial relationships with end clients
11. Working on account management with the outcome of increased customer satisfaction and increase in retention and growth
12. Maintaining all leads on the ERP system on a daily basis
13. Preparing daily sales & summary reports
14. Working on internal & external coordination
15. Working on direct reporting to top management

MS-Excel Negotiation & Problem-solving Sales

Other requirements

1. 0 to 3 years of sales & marketing work experience

2. Prior experience in cold calling & field visits (preferred)

3. Must own a 2-wheeler, and be able to travel to Delhi NCR region

4. Knowledge of value selling techniques, negotiation & analytical skills

5. Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast-paced environment

6. Go-getter attitude and a strong work ethic

7. Ability to work collaboratively and independently and in a team-oriented environment

8. Proficiency in MS Office, Emails, Internet, Technology, etc.

9. A deep understanding of sale, purchase, stock, income, and expenses

10 High aptitude for dealing with numeric and financial data & statistics with commercial acumen

11. Excellent problem-solving skills and solution-oriented attitude

12. Attention to details

13. Good communication & writing skills and fluency in English are a must
