About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Handle troubleshooting and debugging any components in a UAV
2. Think of innovative ideas and execute a prototype single-handedly
3. Work on hardware integration including propulsion, avionics, and other subsystems
4. Work on electronics integration including various sensors, autopilot, payloads, and other peripherals
5. Work on basic software configurations for the systems
6. Design efficient battery systems & work on other power electronics
7. Work on smart features like obstacle avoidance, and payload release mechanisms using proximity sensors and other electromechanical actuators
8. Implement smart features based on computer vision
9. Tune PID values based on flight log data from flight tests
10. Travel across the nation for UAV delivery, training & technology demonstration
11. Collaborate with other engineers and apply critical thinking
12. Build vehicles and work with technicians
13. Purchase parts, bill materials, and collaborate with manufacturers

Arduino C++ Programming CAD Computer Vision Effective Communication PCB Design PCB Soldering Python Robotics

Earn certifications in these skills

Learn Python

Learn Voice App Development

Other requirements

Graduate or postgraduate in mechatronics/electronics/computer science and other relevant fields

Knowledge of computer vision is preferred

Should have good experience working with Edge devices like Nvidia Jetson, Qualcomm, Raspberry Pi, etc.

Good Python/C++ experience

Computer vision knowledge

Worked on robotics

Knowledge of power electronics, and battery management systems

Knowledge of basic communication protocols like UART, CAN, SPI, and I2C, etc.

Good soldering skills

Ability to perform independent test & measurement activities using Oscilloscope, Power Supply, Multimeter, Power Analyzer, etc.

Strong communication, Presentation, and customer interaction skills

Salary

Probation:

Duration: 3 months

Salary during probation: ₹20,000 /month

After probation:

Annual CTC: ₹ 3,00,000 - 4,00,000 /year
