Position - Storage and Backup Admin

STORAGE:
Proficiency with enterprise class storage administration on Netapp,HP 3PAR Storage arrays.
Daily health monitoring for all the storages.
Hands-on experience on Brocade switches.
Zoning through Web Tools and CLI.
LUN allocation, de-allocation using GUI and CLI.
Addition and configuration of new server to the SAN.
Basic understanding of Windows Server & Linux/AIX Operating system.
Hands on knowledge on CIFS,SMB,NFS,ISCSI and FC protocols
Familiar with Storage technology of SAN, NAS, and Object.
Performance monitoring and resolving bottlenecks with respect to fabric,storage arrays and hosts
Analyse capacity and performance for all storage infrastructure to ensure availability growth and readiness for new requirements.
In depth knowledge of ITIL processes like Incident management, Problem management, Change management.
Coordinate with vendor technical support for hardware & software break fix.
Excellent communication skills.

BACKUP:
Hands on knowledge on Commvault and VEEAM backup tool
Installation, configuration & upgradation of backup environment comprising- Commvault,Veeam, Tape libraries etc
Monitor daily backup failures & recovery operations & resolving issues.
Monitor disk & tape backup environment to make sure 100% availability.
Knowledge of OpsCenter Analytics for alerting & reporting.
Basic understanding of Windows Server & Linux/AIX Operating system.
Vendor management for hardware & software break fix.
Maintain Healthy Backup success rate and SLA.

Cloud:
Knowledge on different AWS services like VPC, EC2, EBS, S3,FSx, Storage Gateway, CloudWatch etc.
Hands on experience on FSx, S3 and EBS storages.

Required education: B.Tech/BCA/MCA
Working experience: Minimum 5 Years

CTC 8.50 LPA
