Senior Executive - Fundraising And Communications Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Promote awareness of the organization's mission and work using various media channels
2. Cultivate a network of dedicated donors through effective communication
3. Manage social media to increase the organization's visibility and fund flow
4. Assist in all areas of fundraising
5. Create eye-catching publications, videos, and blogs to strengthen communications with stakeholders
6. Increase visibility and brand promotion using online and offline platforms
7. Research and develop impactful proposals for raising funds within the targeted time frame
8. Ensure timely, data-driven reports to donors as needed
9. Brainstorm with team members to strategize and execute successful campaigns and events to enhance the brand and raise funds
10. Leverage technology and social media to improve fundraising activities
11. Create marketing materials like flyers and brochures for event promotion and fundraising efforts
12. Maintain complete and orderly records of donors and manage regular donor communications
13. Build upon existing donor relationships and form new relationships regularly
14. Collaborate with other organizations and groups to build partnerships and enhance the organization's visibility and reach
15. Research potential donors including individuals, corporations, and foundations
16. Effectively convey the organization's mission, vision, and programs to potential donors

Essential Qualifications:

1. Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
2. At least five years of experience in a similar position, with three years in a civil society organization
3. Master's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field
4. Competence in Microsoft Office suite and donor management systems
5. Excellent spoken and written English and Hindi
6. Experience in writing impactful grant proposals
7. Digital marketing skills
8. Ability to lead a team with a strong sense of commitment to achieving fundraising targets
9. Willingness to commute and undertake need-based travel to project sites across India
