About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. For all our legal entities (India and overseas), working with external accounting firms to manage. Statutory payments planning and execution (GST, TDS, PF, etc.)
2. Ensure accounts are maintained in accounting software (Zohobooks or equivalent)
3. Support quarterly and annual audits
4. Maintain accounting transactions in accounting software
5. Ensuring Bank statements are reconciled correctly and addressing any queries from external accounting firms
6. Do business planning
7. Support preparation and updating of annual, quarterly and monthly financial forecast
8. Prepare and Review monthly MIS
9. Track short-term weekly cashflow forecast vs. actuals
10. Support product pricing development
11. Identifying vendors for office, travel and admin expenses
12. Support with bookings, payments and accounting for vendors for these expenses
13. Prepare/support/review data required for statutory filings
14. Coordinate with GST, income tax and EPF offices as required to resolve any issues

5. Work experience (internship / full time) in a professional organization preferred

6. Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally, Zohobooks, Quickbooks, Xero, etc.) would be preferred

7. Interest in software / SaaS business models

8. Ability to independently figure out solutions to day-to-day work-related problems

9. Candidates not looking for “handholding’ and “spoon-feeding” for day-to-day work
