Software Tester Job (Part time/Remote)

Key responsibilities:

1. Develop automated test plans, scenarios, and test cases using tools like Playwright, Selenium, and JMeter.
2. Collaborate with product owners and UX/UI designers to create automated test plans based on use cases.
3. Work with development teams to define quality standards for test automation, system integration, performance, and load testing.
4. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to your role.
5. Perform load testing using tools like JMeter to ensure application performance under varying conditions.
6. Manage platform releases by executing automated tests, documenting defects, and supporting release deployment.
7. Troubleshoot quality issues and modify automated test procedures as necessary.
8. Use tools like Docker, SQL, and Postman to facilitate automation testing.
9. Proficient in using Jira for tracking automated test progress and collaboration.
10. Follow Agile methodology for iterative test automation and quality improvements.
11. Utilize Git for version control of automation scripts and maintaining a collaborative codebase.
