We are looking for an experienced 'Automation QA Tester' with expertise in Cypress to join our QA team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test cases for our web applications. In this role, you will work closely with developers, product managers, and manual testers to ensure that we deliver high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress for web applications.
2. Collaborate with development and QA teams to create a comprehensive test automation strategy.
3. Design and implement end-to-end, functional, and regression test suites using Cypress.
4. Debug test failures, analyze logs, and identify root causes of test failures.
5. Write and maintain clear and concise test plans, test cases, and test reports.
6. Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing using automation tools.
7. Perform API testing using Cypress or Postman.
8. Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, participate in daily standups, and collaborate with the development team.
1. Candidates with minimum 1 years of experience.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
1+ years of experience in automation testing with a focus on Cypress.
Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript for writing automation scripts.
Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks using Cypress.
Experience with Git for version control
Knowledge of API testing using Cypress, Postman, or similar tools.
Solid understanding of test automation best practices, including page object models, reusable functions, and test data management.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
