The relationship manager (for executing corporate loan proposals) will be responsible for assisting in all activities that are involved in syndicating a proposal, except the sourcing of proposals. Sourcing is a core competency of the founder, and unless the executive voluntarily wants to initiate the proposal sourcing process, it will not be his/her responsibility. Except for the sourcing of proposals, relationship manager's active involvement is required in all steps of the syndicating process.
Key responsibilities:
1. Compiling, sorting, and maintaining the database, as well as sorting and shortlisting potential clients based on certain guided parameters
2. Preparing an information memorandum and the circulation of the same among various stakeholders
3. Coordinating and following up with financial institutions and clients for sharing information and documents, resolving queries about the information memorandum, and circulating the same among various stakeholders
4. Compiling information and creating a proper database for it, so it can be retrieved as and when required
5. Understanding financial terminologies and having a decent understanding of various items of the profit and loss account and balance sheet
1. Those who are from or open to relocate to Mumbai and neighboring cities
1. CA/Semi-qualified CA/MBA (finance)/B.Com. or anyone with job experience in a similar domain will be preferred
2. Interested in working in the finance domain is a plus
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other database management tools
4. Dedication and commitment are a must
5. The candidate must have decent communication skills
