Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Production Merchandiser to join our team in Delhi. This is a full-time, mid-level position that requires a minimum of 4 years to a maximum of 6 years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fashion and production merchandising, with a special focus on Women's Ethnic wear, including Kurtis and Indo western and 3-piece sets.
Qualifications and Skills
Fashion and production merchandising (Mandatory skill)
Knowledge of Kurtis, Indo western, and 3-piece sets (Mandatory skill)
Preparing cost sheet (Mandatory skill)
Garment manufacturing experience with a deep understanding of production processes and quality control measures
Thorough knowledge of textiles, including different types of fabrics and their applications in ethnic wear
3 years diploma in Textile Design, ensuring a strong educational foundation in textile science and design principles
Ability to supervise pre-production activities, including sampling, approval processes, and coordination with suppliers
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact effectively with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams
Roles and Responsibilities
Coordinate with the design team to ensure that all products meet the required standards and specifications
Develop and maintain production schedules, ensuring timely execution of all production activities
Prepare and manage cost sheets to ensure optimal pricing strategies while maintaining quality standards
Supervise pre-production activities, including sourcing, sampling, and vendor negotiations
Oversee quality control processes to ensure that all products meet the company's standards and customer expectations
Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished products
Maintain accurate records of production activities, including inventory management and order tracking
Identify and resolve any production issues or bottlenecks to ensure a smooth workflow
