PR Coordinator Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Develop a marketing comm plan including strategy, goals, budget & tactics
2. Direct the social media team to create engagement for the target audience
3. Evaluate opportunities for partnerships & advertising on an ongoing basis
4. Write and distribute detailed press releases, social media posts, and other promotional material
5. Work with the marketing team to plan and implement campaigns aimed at increasing brand awareness
6. Cultivate strong relationships with industry-specific media outlets and journalists to ensure efficient communication and maximum coverage
7. Analyze the outcome of public relations campaigns and report the findings to management
8. Coordinate PR activities

Skills & Requirements:

1. Bachelor s degree in public relations, journalism, marketing, or a relevant field
2. Excellent knowledge of public relations best practices, brand management, and media strategies
3. Superb written skills and knowledge of press release style guides
4. Strong relationships with both local & national business & industry media outlets
5. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate with personnel and members of the media
