Key responsibilities:

1. Preparing math lesson plans as per the grade levels (grades- 6th to 10th)
2. Explaining mathematical concepts in easy and understandable terms to the students
3. Using real-life examples to teach geometrical concepts
4. Developing student's interest in mathematics
5. Planning and creating teaching materials
6. Giving projects and assignments to the students
7. Organizing a surprise test in the classroom
8. Correcting the test papers and grading them
9. Facilitating classroom discussions on various topics
10. Attending parent-teacher conferences
11. Distributing learning materials to the students
12. Providing additional teaching support for slow learners
13. Building a strong relationship with the students
14. Collaborating with the teachers and other members of the school community
15. Solving various maths problems in the classroom
16. Reporting student progress in the maths subject
17. Performing other administrative tasks around the school

Requirements:

1. Proven work experience as a math teacher, teacher, or a similar role
2. Training and apprenticeship in mathematics will be an advantage
3. Excellent working experience in classroom teaching and management
4. Outstanding knowledge of mathematical formulas and concepts
5. In-depth knowledge of using various teaching and learning aids
6. Ability to pay extra attention to the slow learning students
7. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
8. A positive attitude and presentable appearance
9. Demonstrated ability to maintain utmost discipline in the classroom
10. Ability to solve problems
11. Good interpersonal skills and organizational skills
12. Ability to manage time effectively
13. Strong work ethic
14. Graduation - IIT graduate
