Centre of Excellence in Maritime & Shipbuilding (CEMS) is a skill development initiative by the Indian Registrar of Shipping (IRS) & Ministry of Shipping. We have our advanced technical labs in Vishakhapatnam & Mumbai. We impart training to engineering students and professionals in the latest manufacturing technologies like product design and validation, robotics, mechatronics, virtual reality, product life cycle management (PLM) & nesting-productivity improvement lab, advanced manufacturing, test, and optimization lab, dimensional accuracy control system, automation & process instrumentation & radar system, electrical, pneumatics & hydraulics, pumps & piping, welding technology. CEMS has industrial tie-ups and we help the trainees in placement and has a hostel facility.
