The Purchase and Inventory Maintaining Office Executive is responsible for managing the procurement and inventory processes for production goods. This role involves raising purchase requests, sourcing local products, and ensuring the smooth inward and quality control of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and manage the requirements for production goods.
Coordinate with relevant departments to understand and document their needs.
Create and submit purchase requests to the concerned purchase team based on production needs.
Follow up on the status of these requests to ensure timely procurement.
Identify and source local products, primarily accessories like laces and samples.
Visit suppliers to negotiate terms, assess product quality, and ensure timely delivery.
Oversee the inward process of goods, including receipt and verification against purchase orders.
Maintain accurate records of goods received and inventory levels.
Review quality control (QC) reports for received goods.
Ensure that goods meet quality standards before they are made available for warehouse inventory.
Update and manage inventory records in the warehouse.
Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure proper storage and handling of goods.
