You will be working closely with our email marketing specialists to design campaigns, opt-in forms, templates, and other graphic materials for email. It will be your job to use a client's style guide or brand book to create compelling email templates and campaigns. You'll have an opportunity to play with new design styles, try different visual approaches, and constantly think outside the box.
Key responsibilities:
1. Develop graphic materials for our client's email campaigns and flows
2. Design email templates including icons and GIFs.
3. Design visually compelling and on-brand emails from scratch, using best practices for layout, typography, imagery, and interactivity.
4. Design email assets, slicing, resizing, and building templates directly in the Figma
5. QA testing emails (dark mode, mobile, outlook, etc)
6. Design banners and other graphics using a copy provided by our team of email strategists
Here's a typical week for a graphic designer:
50% Design of email templates of ongoing clients
40% Design of ongoing client campaigns
10% Communication/coordination/meeting (via Asana, Slack, and Email)
Desired Profile:
1. Experience in Figma, or similar
2. Understanding of dark mode and how to QA test and adjust email designs accordingly
3. Detail-oriented with a great eye for design can follow brand guides, content outlines, copy documents, etc.
4. A keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of design principles, and a commitment to creating high-quality visuals.
5. Ability to prioritize your workload to accommodate clients that need a quick turnaround
6. Open to feedback and critique and you should be curious and excited to improve
7. Ability to work comfortably with brand guides and style guides without direct client interaction
