About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Sourcing Candidates: Utilizing various methods such as job boards, social media, networking, and referrals to identify potential candidates with the required skills and experience

2. Screening Resumes: Reviewing resumes and applications to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and suitability for specific IT roles

3. Conducting Interviews: Performing phone, video, or in-person interviews to evaluate candidates' technical skills, experience, and cultural fit with the organization

4. Assessing Technical Skills: Administering technical assessments or tests to evaluate candidates' proficiency in programming languages, software development methodologies, and other relevant technical skills

5. Managing Candidate Pipeline: Keeping track of candidates throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to placement, and maintaining communication to ensure a positive candidate experience

6. Coordinating with Hiring Managers: Collaborating with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, discuss candidate profiles, and provide updates on the recruitment progress

7. Negotiating Offers: Extending job offers to selected candidates and negotiating terms such as salary, benefits, and start dates

8. Maintaining Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations, including equal employment opportunity (EEO) regulations and data protection laws

9. Building Talent Pools: Continuously building and maintaining a network of qualified IT professionals for future hiring needs

10. Providing Market Insights: Staying informed about trends and developments in the IT job market, including salary benchmarks, in-demand skills, and emerging technologies

11. Utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS): Managing candidate information and recruitment workflows using ATS software to streamline the hiring process and maintain accurate records
