Theatre Teacher/Drama Teacher Fresher Job

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teach acting principles to students, primarily in group settings.
2. Conduct individual readings to assess student talent.
3. Create adaptable lesson plans tailored to different student levels and abilities.
4. Focus on key skills such as enunciation, diction, and dialect development using speech drills, improvisation, and voice exercises.
5. Guide students in body language, expression, character development, and personality projection, helping them develop their unique style.
6. Select, edit, cast, and direct plays or other theater art forms for public performances.
7. Conduct rehearsals and evaluate student performances to ensure high-quality shows by opening night.
8. Work with non-performing students on production tasks such as set construction, scene changes, lighting, sound, and special effects.
9. Teach theater-related skills, including stage makeup, costume design, playwriting, and show creation.
10. Collaborate with colleagues to schedule performances around other school activities.
11. Plan lessons, assign written and creative work, and grade assignments based on the curriculum.

Qualifications:

1. A degree in theatre or a related field (e.g., Bachelor of arts in theatre, BA (Hons) in professional musical theatre, bachelor of fine arts in theatre).
2. Graduates are preferred; experience of 1 to 3 years is desired, but freshers can also apply.
3. Strong communication skills.
