As a Telecaller, you will be responsible for making outbound calls to potential customers with the aim of generating sales leads or setting appointments. Your role involves effectively communicating product or service information, understanding customer needs, and providing solutions or information as required. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, be persuasive, and exhibit a high level of professionalism in interactions with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Make outbound calls to prospective customers using a prepared script
2. Explain products or services and answer questions from potential customers
3. Identify and qualify leads based on established criteria
4. Keep accurate and detailed records of calls made and outcomes achieved
5. Follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns or inquiries
6. Build and maintain a positive rapport with customers
7. Meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets for call volume and sales leads
8. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure leads are properly followed up
9. Handle objections and rejections professionally, striving to overcome them
10. Escalate complex inquiries or issues to the appropriate department or supervisor
11. Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends
12. Continuously strive to improve performance and achieve personal and team goals
13. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
1. Proven experience as a telecaller or similar role
2. Excellent verbal communication skills (English proficiency)
3. Ability to engage customers and build rapport over the phone
4. Strong listening and problem-solving skills
5. Persuasive and goal-oriented mindset
6. Basic computer literacy and data entry skills
7. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
8. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in sales or marketing is a plus
9. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
10. Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt
11. Familiarity with Ranchi's educational landscape and local network will be preferred
12. Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, or a related field will be given preference
