We are seeking a hands-on research & development (R&D) Assistant to support our drone operations. The ideal candidate will assist in drone assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and flying. You will work closely with our R&D engineers and be involved in every phase of development, from prototyping to operational testing.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drone Assembly: Assist in assembling various drone models, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications.
2. Testing: Support the testing process by conducting flight tests and ensuring that performance benchmarks are met. Identify any issues and help resolve technical problems.
3. Flying Drones: Operate drones for testing purposes, perform maneuvers, and gather flight data for analysis.
4. Troubleshooting: Help diagnose mechanical or software issues during assembly and testing, suggesting potential fixes.
5. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of test flights, issues encountered, and assembly processes for future reference.
6. Collaboration: Work with engineers and other R&D team members to enhance drone design, improve performance, and integrate new technologies.
7. Safety Compliance: Ensure that all safety protocols are followed during assembly, flying, and testing procedures.
8. Research Support: Assist the team in researching new materials, technologies, and best practices for drone development.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, aeronautics, robotics, or a related field (preferred).
2. Experience in drone assembly and flying is a plus.
3. Basic understanding of drone technology, electronics, and mechanical systems.
4. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
5. Attention to detail with the ability to document processes and results.
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
