We are looking for a 'Quality Assurance Engineer' to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies for quality coordination, and testing as well as suggesting solutions to identified quality problems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing timely feedback
2. Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
3. Design, develop, and execute automated tests
4. Test current products and identify deficiencies
5. Identify and report issues found, then verify that issues are resolved
6. Suggest solutions to identified product problems
7. Investigate product quality to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction
8. Collaborate with the product development team to ensure consistent project execution
9. Identify key KPIs for product quality
10. Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement
11. Plan, create, and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy
12. Collect quality data & perform regression testing
13. Oversee continuous improvement projects
14. Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
15. Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
16. Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies
17. Prepare and present reports and metrics to Senior Management
Skill sets/experience we require:
1. Minimum 6 plus months of proven experience as a quality assurance engineer
2. Experience with coding using JAVA, HTML5, DB2, XML
3. Experience with web security technology & software QA tools and processes
4. Critical thinker and problem-solver
5. Good time-management skills
6. Great interpersonal and communication skills
7. Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
8. Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
9. Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
10. Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
11. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
12. Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
Qualification:
1. Bachelors/masters in computer science or relevant field or relevant experience
Annual CTC: ₹ 2,00,000 - 4,00,000 /year
