We are seeking a dynamic and passionate 'Performing Arts Trainer' to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in at least one of the following disciplines: music, dance, or theatre. The trainer will be responsible for fostering creativity, building students' confidence, and delivering high-quality instruction that inspires a love for the performing arts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver engaging lessons: Plan and conduct engaging and interactive lessons in your area of expertise (music, dance, or theatre), ensuring a stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation.
2. Develop artistic skills: Teach students the fundamentals and advanced techniques in your chosen discipline, such as music theory and instruments, various dance forms, or acting skills, while nurturing their creativity and artistic expression.
3. Encourage creativity and confidence: Inspire students to explore their artistic potential by encouraging creativity, improvisation, and critical thinking. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel confident to express themselves.
4. Performance preparation: Guide students in preparing for performances, whether musical recitals, dance shows, or theatre productions. Offer constructive feedback and support to help students reach their full potential in both practice and live performances.
5. Maintain professional development: Stay updated with current trends and teaching methodologies in the performing arts. Continuously enhance your skills and integrate new ideas into your teaching practice.
6. Collaborate with faculty: Work closely with other trainers and staff to coordinate performances, showcase events, and interdisciplinary projects, promoting a holistic approach to performing arts education.
Qualifications and skills:
1. Expertise in one or more of the performing arts disciplines: Music, Dance, or Theatre.
2. Experience in teaching your discipline to a range of student age groups and abilities.
3. Strong communication and organizational skills.
4. Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
5. Flexibility and creativity in teaching approaches.
