Fashion Designer Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Managing the design process from conception through to the final styling
2. Conducting market research to identify new trends, fabrics and techniques, and seeking design inspiration
3. Collaborating with team members to select seasonal themes, make edits to lines, and create new concepts
4. Ensuring the product is in agreement with business strategy and selecting fabrics and trims
5. Creating production sketches for development packages
6. Collaborating with technical designers to ensure development packages are accurate
7. Reviewing product for style and fit during the presentation
8. Presenting story, mood, color boards, and samples to buyers
9. Teaching the learners about fashion design and taking their regular classes and assessments
10. Helping shape our "fashion designing" culture at Skillinabox for all of its current and future workforces
11. Working closely with the founders and the board and being directly responsible to lead our content strategies, build a strong workforce base & work with people across multiple cities

Required:

1. Minimum 0-1 year of experience in fashion designing and illustrations
2. Solid experience in creating sketches and new and trendy designs
3. Hands-on experience in creating production packages, illustrations, taking classes and assessments of the learners, etc.

Compensation and benefits:

1. Current compensation - ESOPs (stock options) 3.6-5.0 LPA
2. Your next appraisal will be in a really short period considering this is a core team position we are hiring for (6-10 months)
