Key Responsibilities:
Consulting and Guidance:
Meet with students to understand their academic and career goals.
Offer advice on suitable overseas education options and schools.
Application Assistance:
Help students prepare and submit applications to international universities.
Guide them in writing personal statements, gathering recommendation letters, and meeting deadlines.
Information Provision:
Stay updated on overseas universities, programs, visa requirements, and scholarships to provide accurate advice.
Documentation Support:
Assist students with paperwork like visa applications and financial aid forms.
Workshops and Seminars:
Conduct workshops and webinars about studying abroad, covering topics like application processes and cultural adaptation.
Collaboration:
Work with schools, scholarship organizations, and other partners to stay informed about new opportunities.
Client Follow-Up:
Keep in touch with students to track their progress, address any issues, and offer extra support.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for students and their families.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelors degree in Education, Counseling, International Relations, or a related field but mandatorily should be a recent graduate.
Experience:
Experience in student counseling or education consulting for a minimum of 1 year, with knowledge of the study-abroad process.
Knowledge:
Familiarity with international education systems, visa processes, and scholarships.
Skills:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Tech-Savvy:
Comfortable using counseling and application software, as well as Microsoft Office.
