Chartered Accountant Job

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Senior Executive - Finance with CA Intermediate qualification to join our team in Guindy, Chennai. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in financial statement preparation, tax compliance, and general ledger management. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, the ability to work effectively under deadlines, and a commitment to maintaining financial accuracy and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
GST and Income Tax Compliance: Review and ensure accurate preparation of GST returns and income tax returns. Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
General Ledger Management: Oversee the maintenance and reconciliation of the general ledger. Ensure all transactions are properly recorded and documented.
Month-end and Year-end Closing: Perform month-end and year-end closing activities efficiently and on schedule. Prepare necessary financial reports and analyses as required.
Financial Analysis and Reporting: Assist in financial analysis, variance analysis, and budget preparation. Generate financial reports and provide insights to support management decision-making.
Audit Support: Assist in external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
CA Intermediate and Articleship of three years with a recognized firm is mandatory
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in financial statement preparation, GST, and income tax compliance.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel. ZOHO Books knowledge is preferable.
Immediate Joiners are preferred.
