About the internship
As a Backend Development Intern at Almabase, you will dive deep into the world of Django, Python, and REST APIs, playing a pivotal role in the enhancement and maintenance of our core backend systems. This position offers a unique opportunity to impact significant projects, ensuring our platform's reliability, efficiency, and readiness for enterprise demands.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. System Optimization: Analyze and resolve bottlenecks in our core systems, including challenges like syncing data inconsistencies between MySql and ElasticSearch, optimizing profile duplication algorithms, and transitioning our global resource systems to tenant-specific frameworks.
2. Product Enhancement: Contribute to the development of our fundraising, event management, and email communication lines. Add new features and enhancements to meet and exceed enterprise market needs.
3. Uptime and Reliability: Work alongside our Technical Lead to bolster system stability and achieve our target of 99.99% uptime, minimizing downtime and ensuring a seamless user experience for our clients.
