Human Resources (HR) Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work with HR managers and specialists and ask questions to ascertain proper practices
2. Provide administrative support on the online system by keeping employee records up-to-date and accurate
3. Create and implement an efficient filing system both hard copy and on the internal system
4. Liaise with employees and external candidates to provide support where required and answer queries about various issues such as payroll, benefits, paid time off, etc.
5. Ensure the ATS & CRM systems are kept up to date with correct contact details for employees, including their bank details and emergency contact information
6. Manage incoming and outgoing posts
7. Schedule interviews, and manage calendars and diaries on the online system
8. Learn the employee benefits program including pensions, paid time off, and other benefits offered by the company
9. Learn how to complete payroll and maintain payroll records effectively
10. Make phone calls to new candidates and keep them updated on the status of their applications
11. Ask questions and make notes on HR best practices and procedures and implement them into the work you do
12. Keep up with industry best practices for HR standards
13. Provide excellent customer service to internal employees by assisting them with any queries they may have
