Fashion Design And Merchandising Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm and develop concepts for new collections.
2. Assist in creating mood boards, sketches, and technical drawings.
3. Research current fashion trends, fabrics, and materials.
4. Participate in fabric and trim sourcing.
5. Assist in fitting sessions and garment construction.
6. Support the design team in various administrative tasks as needed.
7. Contribute to the overall creative process and provide fresh ideas.

Requirements:

1. Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a fashion design program.
2. Strong passion for fashion and creativity.
3. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) with excellent sketching and illustration skills.
4. Basic knowledge of garment construction and pattern-making.
5. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
7. Prior internship experience in fashion design is a plus.
