Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
Business Development Intern Responsibilities
Market Research: Conduct research to identify potential markets, customer needs, and emerging trends in the industry.
Lead Generation: Assist in identifying and generating new business leads through various channels such as online research, networking events, and social media platforms.
Client Outreach: Support the team in reaching out to prospective clients, partners, or stakeholders through emails, calls, and social media.
Partnership Development: Assist in nurturing relationships with existing and potential business partners, and help explore new partnership opportunities.
Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements, prepare sales pitches, and follow up on leads.
Data Analysis: Analyze sales, market, and competitor data to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
Proposal Creation: Help in the creation and customization of proposals, presentations, and business documents for prospective clients.
Client Meetings: Participate in meetings with clients, taking notes, gathering client requirements, and assisting with follow-ups.
CRM Management: Maintain and update customer relationship management (CRM) systems with new contacts, leads, and relevant information.
Reporting: Assist in preparing weekly/monthly reports summarizing progress on lead generation, outreach efforts, and other business development activities.
