Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled translator proficient in both English and [Tamil/Telugu/Marathi/Punjabi] to join our team. As a translator, you will be responsible for accurately translating written documents from English into your target language and vice versa. This role requires strong linguistic skills, attention to detail, cultural awareness, and the ability to meet deadlines.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Translating the available data into the required language.
2. Ensure translations are accurate, culturally appropriate, and convey the intended message.
3. Proofread and edit translated texts for grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors.
4. Collaborate with team members and clients to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality translations on time.
5. Conduct research when necessary to ensure the accuracy and relevance of translations, especially for specialized topics.
Requirements:
1. Proficiency in both English and [Tamil/Telugu/Marathi/Punjabi] (written and spoken).
2. Proven experience as a translator or similar role.
3. Excellent command of grammar, punctuation, and vocabulary in both languages.
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Cultural sensitivity and awareness.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
8. Familiarity with translation software and tools is a plus.
9. Proven experience working on MS Word with a good typing speed.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Literature, or a related field (preferred but not required).
2. Certification in translation or relevant language proficiency tests is a plus.
