The translation project manager will be responsible for managing translation projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output. This role involves coordinating with translators, editors, and clients to ensure that all project requirements are met.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
I. Project Management:
1. Plan, initiate, and manage translation projects for the specified languages
2. Create project timelines and ensure all deadlines are met
3. Monitor project progress and troubleshoot any issues that arise
4. Ensure that all translations meet client specifications and quality standards
II. Team Coordination:
1. Recruit and manage a team of translators and editors for Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali, Punjabi, and Gujarati
2. Assign tasks to team members and ensure they have the necessary resources to complete their work
3. Provide guidance and support to the translation team
III. Client Communication:
1. Serve as the main point of contact for clients
2. Understand client requirements and ensure they are clearly communicated to the translation team
3. Provide regular updates to clients on the project status
4. Handle client feedback and implement necessary changes
IV. Quality Assurance:
1. Review and ensure the quality of translations
2. Implement quality control processes to maintain high standards
3. Conduct final checks before delivering the translated content to clients
V. Documentation and Reporting:
1. Maintain detailed records of project activities
2. Prepare regular reports on project status and performance
3. Analyze project outcomes and identify areas for improvement

1. A bachelor’s degree in translation, linguistics, project management, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 0.6–1 year of experience in translation project management.
3. Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali, Punjabi, or Gujarati.
4. A strong understanding of translation and localization processes.
5. Excellent project management and organizational skills.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
8. Proficient in project management tools and software.
9. Experience working with multiple languages simultaneously.
10. Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.).
11. Experience with translation management systems (TMS).
