About the work from home job/internship
As a Canva designer intern at Jarurat Care, you will focus exclusively on designing books and book-related marketing materials. Your role will involve using Canva to create visually appealing book covers, layouts, and promotional graphics for children's books published on Amazon KDP.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Design engaging and high-quality book covers using Canva
2. Create aesthetically pleasing page layouts for storybooks, comic books, and coloring books
3. Ensure consistency in design elements to maintain a professional and market-ready appearance
4. Develop promotional materials such as banners, posters, and social media graphics to promote books
5. Create engaging visuals for Amazon KDP listings and book advertisements
6. Design appealing mockups and sample pages to enhance book visibility
7. Ensure that book designs adhere to Amazon KDP specifications and formatting guidelines
8. Optimize images and text placement for readability and print quality
9. Adapt designs for different book formats such as e-books, paperbacks, and hardcovers
10. Work closely with content writers and illustrators to refine book designs
11. Implement feedback from the editorial team to enhance design quality
12. Revise designs as necessary to meet publishing standards and brand requirements

Other requirements
1. Proficiency in Canva and a strong understanding of book layout design
2. Ability to create visually appealing, child-friendly book covers and pages
3. Good eye for detail and creativity in designing engaging book illustrations
4. Basic knowledge of book formatting for Amazon KDP (preferred but not mandatory)
5. Strong time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines
6. Available for at least 4 hours daily with a flexible schedule
