Business Development (Sales) Work From Home Part Time Internship

About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our AI/Software sales team. This individual contributor role offers an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in tech sales, with a focus on high-conversion strategies and performance-based rewards.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Proactively identify and qualify new sales opportunities for our AI and software solutions
2. Conduct high-volume outreach through cold calling, emailing, and social selling
3. Achieve and exceed monthly quotas for qualified leads and scheduled demonstrations
4. Develop a deep understanding of our AI/software products and articulate their value to potential clients
5. Utilize sales intelligence tools to research prospects and personalize outreach strategies

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field
2. Strong interest in technology sales, particularly in AI and software solutions
3. Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts
4. Self-motivated with a hunter mentality and the ability to work independently
5. Resilience and persistence in the face of rejection
6. Basic understanding of AI concepts and software development processes

Performance Metrics:

1. Number of qualified leads generated per month
2. Conversion rate from lead to scheduled demonstration
3. Quality of leads passed to account executives (measured by close rate)
4. Adherence to outreach activity targets (calls made, emails sent, etc.)
5. Contribution to pipeline value
