About the work from home job/internship
As a Legal Intern at Shiplee, you will work closely with our management team and assist in ensuring that the company remains compliant with all legal requirements. You will gain hands-on experience in corporate law, contracts, and regulatory compliance, especially related to e-commerce, logistics, and financial regulations. Exceptional performance during the internship may lead to a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) with us.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Draft, review, and revise contracts and agreements (e.g., vendor agreements, service contracts, user agreements).
2. Assist with compliance processes related to e-commerce, logistics, and payments.
3. Research legal regulations and requirements specific to the shipping and logistics industry.
4. Support in handling legal disputes or inquiries.
5. Assist in preparing legal documentation (e.g., privacy policies, NDAs, terms of service).
6. Ensure that the company follows legal standards for data protection and payment regulations.
7. Coordinate with external legal consultants or law firms, if necessary.
