About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Test Planning: Assist in the development of test plans and strategies for software projects.
2. Test Execution: Execute test cases and scripts to identify software defects and ensure adherence to quality standards.
3. Defect Management: Document and track defects, prioritize issues, and work with developers to resolve them.
4. Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that previously identified defects have been fixed and no new issues have been introduced.
5. Automation: Learn and assist in the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency.
6. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure effective communication and resolution of issues.
7. Reporting: Generate test reports and provide status updates on testing progress to stakeholders.
8. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, testing methodologies, and tools to enhance skills and contribute to process improvements.

Other requirements

1. A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required for this job.

2. You need to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and familiarity with software testing concepts and methodologies.

3. Although it is preferred, a basic understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# is not mandatory.

4. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have the eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.

5. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality are also important.
