Based in Kolkata, we are an NGO concerned with child education, women's healthcare & general welfare in and around West Bengal. Helping Hand started its mission back in 2014 when a group of teenagers decided to protest against child abuse and child labor cases happening daily in our cities and countries. On 15th August 2014, we started our first event, a candlelight march against child abuse.
After that, we never had to look back, we went stronger and stronger day by day. We have worked with many associative organizations like Cancer Fight Foundation, ACTT, Tagore Foundation, and Iswar Sankalpa. We also have international partners from Ireland, TDRO (Trickle Down Ripple Out). Our biggest strength lies in our young and dynamic group. We believe if the young generation comes forward for the cause, change cannot be far.
