About part time job/internship
At Sarvam Foundation, we are dedicated to empowering young girls through holistic education and personal development. Our programs focus on nurturing confidence, discipline, and essential life skills. We're looking for a committed and organized classroom manager to join our team and help create a positive, impactful learning environment.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Take charge of classes in the absence of teachers to ensure smooth operations and student engagement
2. Mentor students in personal growth and character development to promote discipline and respect
3. Track the daily attendance of both students and teachers to maintain consistency
4. Oversee teacher lesson plans and progress to provide feedback and improve learning quality
5. Assist in the Shakti Sanjeevani program by monitoring student wellness and supporting their physical and mental well-being
6. Support the Shakti Speak initiative by guiding students to build English communication skills and confidence for public speaking
7. Conduct home visits as needed to understand student backgrounds and offer better support
8. Regularly check on each student's academic and personal progress to address specific challenges as they arise

About Sarvam Foundation
Sarvam Shakti, a flagship project of the Sarvam Foundation, is a unique and empowering educational program for urban slum girls. We emphasize creative education, including intensive training in Indian performing arts and yoga. Additionally, through our Shiksha initiative, we provide quality education in computers and English classes. Our students, known as Shaktis, have appeared on national television and performed internationally. By offering a skills-based curriculum and well-being program, we empower marginalized girls in India to discover confidence, self-worth, and purpose in their lives.
