Natural Language Processing Internship (Remote)

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Develop new NLP models and software components in Java/Python/R programming languages and work on creating software that can understand and respond to natural language
2. Assist in rapid prototyping and research projects
3. Leverage NLP concepts to improve existing algorithms and models
4. Work with a cross-functional team of data scientists, researchers, and software engineers to develop and/or integrate new technologies
5. Run experiments, analyze data, and provide insights to help drive actionable decisions
6. Work with text representation techniques, semantic extraction algorithms, data structures, and modeling to design software that can effectively parse and process text

Required:

1. Good understanding of statistical methods & ML frameworks
2. Must be able to write robust code that is testable and maintainable
3. Should work with big data frameworks such as Spark or Hadoop
