About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share in Asia
2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and industry stakeholders
3. Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
4. Collaborate with the product development and marketing teams to tailor offerings to meet the specific needs of the Asian market
5. Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for Uni Trade Partners
6. Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports to senior management
7. Represent Uni Trade Partners at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our products and services
8. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the target markets
9. Provide leadership and support to the regional sales team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement

Who can apply

Other requirements

1. A bachelor’s degree in business, international trade, or a related field (a master’s is also preferred).

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in international business development or sales, preferably within the paper and plastic materials industry.

3. A proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in Asia.

4. A strong understanding of international trade regulations and market dynamics in Asia.

5. Possess excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

6. Possess the ability to travel extensively within the region.

7. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

8. Fluency in English and knowledge of additional Asian languages are pluses.
