About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Electronics Systems Design: Assist in the design and development of electronic systems for defense applications under the guidance of senior engineers
2. Circuit Design Support: Aid in the design of analog and digital circuits, including schematic capture and PCB layout, while considering factors such as power consumption, EMI/EMC, and environmental conditions
3. Firmware Development Assistance: Support firmware development for microcontroller-based systems, including real-time control, communication interfaces, and sensor integration
4. Testing and Verification: Assist in the execution of test plans to ensure the functionality, performance, and compliance of electronic systems with relevant standards and specifications
5. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and project managers, to integrate electronic systems into overall product designs
6. Documentation Assistance: Aid in creating comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, and user manuals

Other requirements
1.) Basic Firmware Development: Familiarity with firmware development concepts and languages, such as C/C++, and understanding of basic firmware architecture.
2.) PCB Design Basics: Basic knowledge of PCB design principles and tools, or willingness to learn.
3.) Simulation Tools: Familiarity with simulation tools such as SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, or ModelSim for circuit and system-level simulation.
4.) Interest in Defense Technology: Passion for defense technology and willingness to learn about relevant standards and regulations.
5.) Hands-on Experience: Any hands-on experience with electronics projects, labs, or internships would be beneficial.
