E&Y is currently hiring interns for policy advisory within the economic development advisory team in Mumbai. The intern will be responsible for doing economic research at the E&Y Office, Nariman Point, Mumbai
Interns would need to do sectoral research and help in devising policies for state government. The duration and the stipend will be decided in the interview. Due to the complexity and secrecy of the project, we cannot provide accurate job descriptions and responsibilities.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Conduct thorough sectoral research using data from reputable sources to identify industry trends and challenges relevant to economic development
2. Assist in formulating and evaluating policies aimed at fostering economic growth for state governments
3. Prepare comprehensive reports and policy briefs summarizing research findings and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders
4. Work on staying updated on emerging trends and best practices in economic development and public policy
5. Support the economic development advisory team in project management, stakeholder engagement, and policy implementation efforts

5. Should be committed & eager to learn. The EY employees will provide guidance and support to the intern to carry out day-to-day tasks
6. A strong maths, and statistics background, a really strong economics background are a must
